If you’re thinking of starting your own work-at-home business, then blogging is the way to go. Yet don’t expect that money will come in easily when you’re blogging. You can do something, though, so it you can get more traffic and convert them to sales.
Here’s how:
1. Update your blog at least once a day. There is a lot of information revealed every day and surely you don’t want your readers to look somewhere else because your news is stale. So learn to update your blog at least once every day. It can be in the form of a poll, a handful of useful tips, a link to another interesting blog, or your own commentary about particular news. Your post doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, it should sound conversational.
2. Take note of your blog’s format. You don’t like your readers to guess how your blog looks like and how it works. To make it really easy for you, you can simply choose among the different templates blogging platforms have. Surely, there’s one that interests you. Keep the newer topics on top and old articles in your archives. Make sure all links are working really well. If you’re posting an article with a link, ensure that it’s very relevant to the topic. Your goal, after all, is to provide more information.
You should also choose your font color and your blog’s background really well. The best choice will always be dark text to complement a light background. Stick to a general pattern too. This means don’t settle for color varieties. Make your headlines or blog titles appear bold.
3. Proofread your entries before posting. Blogs are famous because of their rawness, but technical errors don’t count. If you like to establish your reputation as an expert of something, make sure that you avoid misspellings and grammar and punctuation errors.
